Lucky to be Alive and Together

Earlier this week (on Wednesday), I got a frantic phone call from Jon on my way home from school.  He had just been in a car accident...and of course all I cared about was whether or not he was ok...was he hurt.  He told me that he was fine and that I needed to come and get him.  I immediately turned the car around and raced (in my mind only) to get to him.  The entire time, as I drove to meet him, I thought of how this accident could have changed everything if it had ended differently.  I started to tear up...just thinking about a life without him basically knocks the wind right out of me.  He does so much for Kelsey and I and he's one of the most loving husband/father I know.  God definitely watches over our family and blesses us all the time.  Here is a picture of the accident.

Jon had been driving as an older lady (white car) pulled out to cross the street, turning left, and apparently did not look both ways, which caused Jon to run right into her.  The car is totaled, but that doesn't matter.  Jon is here, with us, alive!  We love you long time Babe!
