We went to the NC State Fair last Sunday...looking back, I'm not sure why. It was entirely overcrowded and the food prices were out of this world. And the options....fried oreos...fried pecan pies...fried honey buns, seriously?!?!? We weren't able to do or see much, but I have to say the highlight of the day was having Kelsey go to the petting zoo. She was so funny around the goats, the llamas and especially the camel. She loved feeding them carrot slices!!! They would snatch them right out of her little hands :) It may be awhile before we attempt the fair again.
