Kelsey's Big Girl Bedroom Suit

Grandma Cheryle has worked extremely hard to make Kelsey's comforter, pillow case and pillow sham for Kelsey's surprise big girl bedroom for Christmas.  It is sooooo adorable!!!  It's hard for me to wanna share it *wink*.  I love all the little details:  Kelsey's initials, the lovely colors, the patterns, and my favorite...Kelsey and my Mom's handprint!!! What a wonderful treasure!  Here are some pictures below to show off my Mom's handy-work.  I can't wait to surprise Kelsey!

The Cooke Wedding

Jon and I went to watch our two friends, Sarah and Chris, get married last weekend.  It was a very extravagant wedding!  Sarah was beautiful, Chris was smiling ear-to-ear, and all my high school friends were there.  We wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!!!  Have an unforgettable honeymoon!

Me and Mr. B!!!
 The girls...just like old times!
The happy bride...it was hard to get her alone for a quick pic!!!
A lovely, tasty cake....light and fluffy chocolate on the inside *lick lips*

I was in Miami ;p

Over Halloween weekend, I was sent by my school to Miami Beach for Level 2 training for our magnet program.  It was an overwhelming 4 days considering we had trainings all day, and then we had to see the "sites" the rest of the time...I know...poor me!!!  Our little group had such a wonderful time getting to work together and know each other better.  I left with a wealth of knowledge and some new friendships.

Highlights:
1. Out-of-this-world costumes in a barely covered kind of way.
2. Scrumptious food.
3. Beach right outside the hotel.
4. Bed made and fresh towels each day.
5. Choice of 3 pools.
6. Only spending $20 after getting reimbursed.

Lowlights:
1. Not being with Jon and Kelsey on Halloween.
2. No one speaking English.
3. Food prices.
4. Taking taxi rides with drivers who don't talk.
5. Aveda shampoo...totally dried my hair out.
6. Forgetting my flip-flops at home.
7. Men wearing Speedos.
