What an eventful weekend!!! Saturday, sweet little Ella came over for a play date. K and E had an indoor picnic ;) and then we hiked around the block to hang out at the pool. 
Unfortunately it was extremely humid and sweltering hot, but Christine and I were able to get in the pool before we passed out from utter exhaustion (ok...I did exaggerate a little, but it was HOT!) 
K and E are only a few weeks apart and just the happiest little girls I've ever seen. Lots of smiling and splish splashing in the water. We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again!
Saturday night, I went over to Vannah's for a quick little spa party! I love sugar scrubs...or any scrub for that matter. Now my hands, arms, and legs feel silky smooth and rejuvenated!!! Ahhhh! Once the party was over, we met up with Jon and James to go to Andrew's birthday party.
Lots of people were there and the BBQ was just what I needed. We stayed for a little while and then the girls decided to go to Duffy's since it was karaoke night. Vannah, Melody and I headed over there only to find out it didn't start until 10 pm (it was 9 when we arrived). 
So we hung out, picked out our songs, and waited. Unfortunately for me, everyone else decided to arrive right before V and I went up to sing her favorite song, Stay (Lisa Lobe). I think I still suffer from stage fright because my pulse was absolutely too fast and my nerves were shot. Ernest is the lucky fella who caught that on tape...yikes! We had tons of fun...Jon sang 3 or 4 times...I lost count. He is quite the entertainer! Wait til he comes to a karaoke night near you...watch out ;)

On Sunday, I got to see two of my closest friends, Jessica and Shelley, as we headed to the Rascall Flatt's Concert with Darius Rucker (Hootie). 
I couldn't believe how packed Walnut Creek turned out to be, but we were able to get pretty good lawn seats before the majority of the crowd arrived. Lots of singing, screaming, and dancing (or swaying back in forth in my case)...so much I totally lost my voice the next day. 
We hung out and listened to more music afterwards, and I think we were the last vehicle to leave the parking lot. I guess that's what happens when you are having a blast and just don't want it to stop. After driving around for awhile, we went through the drive through for some much needed food, went back to Jess's house and went to sleep. Thank you for such a super fun and crazy night! These are the days....love you!

We (me and Jon) have one more concert left to go to before school starts back (tear...). Vacation is coming to an end sadly, but now I have the motivation for next summers memories to look forward to! Our friends rock!
