Ashlyn was such a cutie and had so much fun opening her gifts...well with a little help of course. Her favorite presents...clothes, her purse/cell phone and tissue paper! We tried to stick to the rainbow theme as much as possible. Here are some pics from the party:

Jon grilled some hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill...not apart of the rainbow...but very tasty!

Ashlyn is such a sweet *HAPPY* little baby! She can do so many things right now and she never ceases to amaze us with what she can learn to do. Here are a few things this little blessing can do:
1. Wave "hi" and "bye-bye." Its more of a sideways wave, but she loves to do it.
2. Say "hi", "all done", "jay jew" (thank you), "mama", "dada", "tickle tickle", "num num" (for food), "k k" (as in the sound, for Kelsey)...and her favorite "no" which she uses quite frequently.
3. She can walk across rooms now. Its a very unique little strut, she mostly walks on the sides of her feet, but since we bought her her first pair of shoes which are super cute, I'm sure it will get better.
4. She can pick up toys off the floor and put them in a basket.
5. Favorite games, "hide and seek" and "I'm going to get you!" Makes her grin ear to ear...sweetest little smile ever.
6. Holds her own bottle. Mostly feeds herself. We are starting to work on table food now. If she doesn't like it...to the floor it falls *ugh*.
7. Points at things.
8. She doesn't like things that are in stacks or piles. She will knock it over (for example blocks) or throw them to the side (for example clothes folded in a clothes basket).
9. She dances. Shakes up and down, puts her hands in the air, tries to sing...which sounds mostly like "Juh-Juh."
10. Loves tickle hands...I'll scrunch my fingers ready to tickle her and she'll mimic me by doing and saying "tickle-tickle" over and over again.
11. Favorite food: sweet potatoes and marshmallows...never fails.
12. Likes to sleep with a stuffed friend. We give her a different one every night...that way she doesn't get attached to any one thing.
13. Favorite stuffed animals: Cammi the camel, and Puppy the pink and white dog.
14. Loves to be with Big Sissy! They are so sweet to each other. Kelsey is so gentle with her and runs to her rescue when she cries. The BeSt of FrIeNdS!

15. People say teething...I say just loves putting things in her mouth...from shoes, to toys, to grossy things from the floor, to fruits and veggies (both real and fake), remotes, cell phones, basically anything her grubby little fingers come across.
16. Loves watching cartoons...was born this way though, literally has been doing it since her eyes opened.
17. Tongue twirler...can twist it, turn it, stick it out and work it side-to-side and can blow the loudest rasberries with it.
18. Sleeps on her belly with her arms tucked underneath and hiney up ;)
19. Gets excited when Sammy (our cat) makes it over the gated livingroom gates. Will chase after her and head butt her until she finally jumps back over to the "greener" side.
20. Snuggles...especially when she's tired or gets hurt. Definitely likes the first class treatment.
21. She leans her head on your arm or hugs her babies and says "Awwwwww"....a personal favorite!
This little girl has melted our hearts in so many ways! She is a dream come true and the final piece to our family puzzle. Our little girls are amazing and inspire us to become better parents! We love you two! Muah!
