Early Christmas

Since we are heading down to Florida the night of the 24th, we decided to celebrate Christmas a few days early.  It has completely thrown me off, because everywhere we go people are still buying presents, wishing "Merry Christmas'" and asking Kelsey what she asked Santa for Christmas.
Kelsey was so happy to see all the presents around the tree!  Her face lit up once she realized that most were for her.  She completely understands what a present is, what its for and knows how to unwrap them without any help.  This is probably the first Christmas Jon and I were eagerly waiting to have.  Kelsey is at a perfect age right now.  She's a mix between Curious George and Fancy Nancy (always into things and repeating words we've never introduced to her...appropriate ones of course ;)  She is learning her letters and can identify at least half of them (wahoo...only have to know 8 at the beginning of Kindergarten).  She counts everything we put in front of her and can count up to 14 before she gives up ;)  She makes silly faces and her new favorite hobby is to sing and dance to gLee...I wonder where she gets that from ;)  She likes to tell me how she's going to be a Big Sister...but I don't think she quite understands what that job entails...ha!  We are still working on potty training (ugh!!!) but hopefully one day it will just "click" or that's what I keep telling myself so I won't give up. She's quickly turning into a girly girl, requesting her chapstick, carrying her purse, wearing bracelets and necklaces, and wanting me to fix her hair.  We are so proud of her and love all her little quirks!  We love you sweetie pie!
