Science Olympiad

There are so many opportunities for kids to be free thinkers.  I finally helped the team captains this year in our school's Science Olympiad.  Totally could have helped out more if I could've stayed after school longer, but was just taking the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of how to coach an Olympiad team.  The kids were really excited about sharing their knowledge, praciting a skill, or shooting off a rocket they'd worked weeks/months on. All the schools were very competitive, to the point where they were hiding thier contraptions so no one could duplicate their final products...so silly ;)  Here are a few pics from the event.
