I never realized how SILLY my little K is until today.
So...when we arrived home after work/daycare today, Kelsey asked for some cheese. So I gave her a string cheese to snack on while I got dinner ready. I showed her how you have to pinch the ends to pull of the string of cheese you're going to eat. As I left her to eating her snack, I began chopping some veggies for dinner. Kelsey was pretty quiet and after a few minutes I turned around to check on her. She was standing over the trashcan...and this is pretty much what happened from that point forward:
Me: (concerned) What are you doing?
K: Pulling the string off the cheese. I can't eat the string. (meanwhile tossing each "string" into the trash)
Me: But you're supposed to eat that part?
K: (laughing) Eeeew! I don't eat string. I have to put it in the trash.
Moral: We will not be buying string cheese for awhile, unless we want to find it all nicely strung into the trashcan.
