Memorial Day Weekend

What a relaxing weekend...totally needed it! On Saturday (since Jon had to work and it was raining here-and-there) Kelsey and I stayed in and played with her toys all day. I've decided that its time to get some new ones soon...thank goodness her birthday's just around the corner ;)
On Sunday, we all hung out at the pool and Vannah and James stopped by and stayed with us for a few hours. Kelsey did such a great job! She was such a trooper even with the water being as cold as it was. She definitely didn't like hanging in her floating turtle for long periods of time, but I'm sure a few more encounters with the "big bathtub" will prepare her to ride solo one day soon. (well...with me by her side of course).
Memorial Day was today and we celebrated by spending time with family. I can never say, "No!" to grilling out! Some holiday's, for me, have lost their meaning. They're just another free day off from school. For example, this morning I thought, "Yes...I can wear white again!" but then as I watched the parades on TV and listened to the radio, I realized that I had forgotten today's purpose. So in honor of those who have dedicated their lives in service of our country, Thank You...we owe our freedom to you!
